Redskins: Skins Demolish Broncos 20 Years Ago

The Skins compiled 603 yards of offense in this one.



The fourth TD was a play action that faked a counter to the right while Ricky Sanders, lined up on the right as the Split End, went in motion to the left to run a slot pattern which was a skinny post, and he was all alone. This followed the Timmy Smith TD, the third TD of the day, half, and quarter, which actually was a counter gap to the right. Gibbs is brilliant.

The fifth TD of the day, half, and quarter featured Broncos' LB Karl Mecklingburg simply giving up. Look at the pass rush of #77 on that play.
